Welcome to the Silver Bullet Shooting Range!

Five Firing Lanes With Electric Target Carriers

3 to 25 Yard Shooting Distances

Variety of Bull's Eye and Silhouette Targets - Gun Sales

On Site Gun Rentals - Open 7 Days

Monday - Friday: 12:00 Noon - 7:00 pm

Saturday & Sunday: 10:00 am - 7:00 pm

We have five shooting lanes with electric target carriers that go out to a distance of 25 yards each. Rather than having to wait for a "cease fire" in order to retrieve your target, you simply bring your individual target back to you with the flick of the switch. We maintain good ventilation in our facility to make a more pleasant and healthy shooting experience. Silver Bullet is a pistol range but you can also fire any rifle cartridges up to .308. We sell most calibers of full metal jacket pistol cartridges for use here in our range or to go. You may shoot your own ammo if it meets the following restrictions.

Ammo restrictions are as follows:

Full Metal Jacket or Plain Lead is OK.

No hollow points unless testing for feed. (Ask first)
No armor piercing, tracer or incendiary rounds. All rifle ammo will be checked with a magnet. If you shoot .223 (5.65 mm) full metal jacket lead ammo is hard to find at a decent price these days, partly because the military is acquiring extra ammo from private companies to send to our troops. At the gun shows it is easier to find SS-109 (green tipped steel core rounds) than regular lead only rounds. Many people believe that all you have to look for is the green painted tips. This is not true. British SS-109 ammo is not painted, therefore we check all rifle ammo with a magnet before we allow it in our range. We advise shooters to keep a magnet with them when shopping for rifle ammo so they know what they are buying. Armor piercing ammo has it's place, in the field against enemy, not in our range. If Kelley has to repair too many holes in equipment meant to be bullet proof he may hunt you down!

Wolf Ammo is CRAP and you shouldn't use it in fine firearms! Some commie guns only have ammo available in steel case and If you bring Wolf brand ammo or any other steel cased ammo of any caliber, you MUST separate your fired steel cases from the brass on the floor and throw them away in the trash as not to mix them in with our recyclable brass!

No black powder. (too much smoke)

Suppressed and class three weapons are OK with care, but ask first and be prepared to show permit.

Call or contact for restrictions on shotguns. No slugs or steel shot. Extra charge for carrier hits.

Silver Bullet also warns shooters not to use reloads unless you know the reloader is experienced and does a decent job of re-manufacturing your ammo. We have pieces of hand guns that have blown up like a grenade from either over charging reloads or under charging them causing "squib loads" (a bullet lodged in the barrel because there wasn't sufficient power to fully discharge, causing the next round to possibly blow up the gun).
