SB-25 Class

Gas-Operated Firearm Purchase Course
Class Level: State-Required
Colorado now requires this course before you can buy a gas-operated firearm with a detachable magazine. This 4-hour class is taught straight from the state's own curriculum by instructors who know it inside and out, and it's for students who already hold a Hunter's Safety card. Contact the store if you'd like to know how to obtain a Hunter's Safety card if you do not currently possess one.
What to expect in your SB-25 Class:
-
A classroom course, no live fire
-
The state's required curriculum, taught as written
-
A 40-question written test, 90% to pass
-
One retest allowed; if you don't pass the second time, state rules require you to restart the course from the beginning
Before you sign up, you'll need your Hunter's Safety card and sheriff's office approval on file. You're welcome to buy your firearm whenever you're ready, but the class requires that approval first. Not sure if you qualify? Give us a call.
This is a 4-hour classroom course. There's no live fire, so there's nothing to rent and no ammo to buy. Registration is by phone or in person: call or stop by and talk to an instructor.
